W. Christopher Bracken Joins Childs Company
ATLANTA, October 22, 2007 - Childs Company, an investment banking company focused on middle market business services firms, is pleased to announce W. Christopher Bracken IV is joining the firm as Vice-President.
Mr. Bracken most recently served as Senior Vice-President of Axiant, LLC and previously as Director of Mann Bracken, LLC and CEO of Phoenix Holdings, LLC (a debt purchasing business). In those roles, Mr. Bracken was heavily involved in business strategy and corporate finance at one of the leading collection law firms in the country and in fund raising, investment management, and operational duties at an active debt purchasing business.
Mr. Bracken was also intimately involved in the restructuring and recapitalization of Mann Bracken by a billion dollar New York based private equity firm. A restructuring like Mann Bracken’s can allow firms to recapitalize the business, monetize ownership interests, or allow for succession planning in the case of a retiring partner or when transferring ownership interests.
Mr. Bracken graduated from Rhodes College and received his J.D. from the University of Richmond. Mr. Bracken is a member of the State Bar of Virginia and the District of Columbia Bar.
Mr. Bracken will be providing Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory, Capital Raising, and Strategic Advisory services to businesses in the Account Receivable Management industry including law firms, debt purchasing companies and collection agencies.
