Matt Childs

Prior to forming Childs Company, Matt was the CFO and a major shareholder at Mitchell's Formal Wear, the nations largest retailer and wholesaler of men's formal wear. During his tenure at Mitchell's, the company grew from 50 locations doing $10 million in revenue to 240 locations doing over $100 million in revenue. Mr. Childs and the management team at Mitchell's developed and executed a plan to consolidate their industry, concluding with a successful sale to a public company.

In addition to financial management, Matt participated in developing and executing the company's sales and marketing plans, real estate strategies, personnel development, merchandising, distribution and information systems initiatives. He was instrumental in raising capital for the company's growth, directed the company's acquisition efforts and served as the company's primary liason with external investors, creditors and board members.

Since 2001, Matt has devoted his professional life to assisting business owners, executives and professionals in maximizing and managing the value of their corporate and personal assets. Matt oversees Wealth Management Services for Childs Company.

Matt began his career at Arthur Andersen & Co. is an alumnus of the University of Georgia. He is also a member of the Atlanta Athletic Club and the Phoenix Society.
